In the Parentheses

In the parentheses – that’s where you live.

 

In the space between your birth and your death – between your dreams and their fulfillment – between your yesterdays and your tomorrows.

 

It’s life in the between places.

And…living in the parentheses is especially important spiritually. 

 

You are living between the two comings of Christ — the first advent and the second.

 

You are living between your call to follow Jesus…and your ultimate perfection in Him.

 

You are living between the promise of His return…and His coming in the clouds for His children.

 

The people of Peter’s day wondered about the coming of Christ – since everything continued as it was.

 

But…living in the parentheses calls for patience and trust.

 

Live obediently in the parentheses of life.
