Sons of the Light

Sons of the light.  That’s who you are — if you are a follower of Jesus Christ.

“You are all sons of the light…”

Paul is specifically referring to the second coming of Christ — that Christians are not in the dark about the coming of the Lord.

But it can have a broader meaning – that you can live in the light of divine truth.

The light of origins – that God is Creator.  The light of truth – that Jesus is truth.  The light of divine revelation – that you have God’s word.  The light of how to live – the illumined path of God’s presence.

You have the privilege of walking in the light.  And that light gets brighter every day.

The world is a dark place.   But you are a son of the light.
