Measuring Growth

Measuring growth.  The notches on the door jamb tell the story.

But…it’s not so easy when it comes to measuring spiritual growth.  That’s because life’s trials can be misread as sure proof of spiritual stagnation.

Sometimes God seems distant…but in reality He hasn’t moved – and His work continues.

Who would consider Job’s trials to be occasions of spiritual growth?  But God used them for just that.

So…God can even use adversity as a way to produce growth.

 

Don’t be discouraged by the absence of growth indicators.  God is at work in ways you might find hard to comprehend.

Just trust Him with all your heart.  He will take care of the rest.
