Tired of Doing What is Right

Tired of doing what is right.  Have you ever had a moment like that?

Paul wrote to the Thessalonians – “…never tire of doing what is right.”

When no one else is willing…you step in.  When the group is dismissed…it’s up to you to clean up.  When strangers need help…you are the only one available.

But…sometimes you get weary of doing what is right.

But…this takes you to the essence of life – doing what is right.  Authentic love is focused not on self but on others.  That’s God’s kind of love.

The call of Jesus is to serve others as He served others.  “Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.  And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

Never tire of doing what is right.
