Anxiety about the Future

Anxiety about the future.  But why?

Probably it’s become you are fearful of bad news.  It’s not only present concerns…but it’s about the uncertainties of the future.

The psalmist speaks of a better way for the man of God – “He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.  His heart is secure, he will have no fear…”

Interestingly…it is not a promise that there will be no bad news — rather that the man of God will have no fear when it comes.

How is that possible?  Became his heart is steadfast…as he trusts in God.

The conclusion is inevitable.  Bad news will come.  But you need not be fearful – if your heart is steadfast in trust.

So rejoice…knowing that you can face the future without fear.
