The Womb of the Dawn

The womb of the dawn. That’s how the psalmist describes the beginning of each new day.

And it is just this way.  Every day is like a new creation — full of new opportunities and ventures.  It marks the beginning of something new.

Consider the womb.  It brings forth a new life…a life never again to be duplicated.  It delivers a life that is capable and completely furnished.  All that is needed is the passage of time to do its maturing work.

Each day is just like that.  It contains all the potential needed…never again to be duplicated.

So…it’s a new day.  It’s like a mother’s womb.  The opportunities are limitless.  Today is like the birth of a child.

Honor it – love it – and use it as a potential for good.
