Divine Love and the Trinity

Divine love and the Trinity. The first presumes the second.

God is love. It is the very essence of who He is. He is the infinite expression of love that is pure…and unadulterated.

God would be incomplete without an expression of His love.

This is where the triunity comes in – Father…Son…and Holy Spirit. From eternity…this Trinity has been in place. Man is a creature of time…but God is from everlasting to everlasting.

It is the Trinity that gives expression to love. It is the fellowship within the Godhead that gives reality to the love of God.

And the eternal God has included man in His expression of love.

And that includes you. You are loved by God.
